FUTURES COPY TRADING · ACCOUNT GROUPS

UNDERSTAND FUTURES COPY TRADING BEFORE YOU LINK THE ACCOUNTS.

Learn how futures copy trading works across NQ, ES, GC and micro contracts, including leader and follower accounts, contract scaling, platform setup, slippage, emergency controls, and prop-firm rule checks.

COPY TRADING EDUCATION + RISK CONTROL

What should be verified before copying a futures trade?

Copy trading can reproduce one decision across several accounts, but it can also reproduce the wrong size, a rejected order, slippage, or a rule violation across every connected account.

Leader and follower account mapping

Confirm which account sends the order, which accounts follow it, whether brackets are copied, and how partial fills or rejected orders are handled.

Contract scaling across NQ, ES, GC and micros

A single NQ, ES, or GC contract does not carry the same risk as MNQ, MES, or MGC. Each follower account needs deliberate sizing rather than blind duplication.

Platform support and prop-firm restrictions

Verify whether the platform supports account groups or a copier, whether cross-firm copying is permitted, and how each account's drawdown and payout rules apply.

FUTURES COPY TRADING FAQ

Direct answers before accounts are connected.

The exact platform and firm rules control what is permitted. These answers explain the operating principles traders should verify.

What is futures copy trading?

Futures copy trading uses a leader account to send orders to one or more follower accounts. The copier repeats instructions; it does not improve the setup, risk, or execution quality.

Can NQ, ES, or GC be copied into micro contracts?

Only when the platform or copier supports symbol mapping or account-specific contract ratios. NQ, ES, and GC must not be treated as equal-risk substitutes for MNQ, MES, and MGC.

Can prop-firm accounts be copy traded?

Rules vary by firm, account type, platform, and whether accounts belong to the same trader. Verify the current official rules before connecting or grouping any accounts.

Does Infinite place or copy trades for members?

No. Infinite provides education, market context, and community discussion. Each trader controls their own platforms, accounts, orders, copier configuration, and risk.

WHAT CHANGES IN VIP

Copy trading multiplies consistency—and mistakes.

The copier does not improve the trade. It repeats the order. Every setup still needs defined risk, account-specific sizing, verified brackets, connection checks, and a plan for rejected or mismatched fills.

Account mappingName the leader, followers, account groups, and permitted combinations before the session begins.
Contract and risk scalingDefine the contract multiplier, maximum loss, and full-size versus micro-contract mapping for every account.
Platform and connection checksConfirm market data, connection status, bracket behavior, supported order types, and how disconnects are handled.
Emergency controlsKnow how to flatten all accounts, disable followers, reconcile mismatched positions, and stop copying immediately.
